This charming, comfortable one-bedroom flat is on the top floor
(5th) of
a Haussmann building dating from 1880. It is accessible by lift and
was fully renovated in June 2009 to comply with the latest
environmental standards. It is light and enjoys a very calm setting, a
small balcony looking out over Paris and has nearby amenities. It is
bathed in sunlight all day long, with windows on all four sides, and
can comfortably house four adults.
The flat has individual central heating, the latest multi-split air
conditioning technology, a fully equipped kitchen with multifunction
oven, induction cook-tops, extractor hood, refrigerator freezer,
dishwasher, electrical cooking appliances, etc. – everything you need
for an enjoyable stay. The living room, with a window onto a small
balcony, has a modern widescreen high-definition TV, together with a
Blu-Ray DVD player (European region) and Internet. The living room
also has several cupboards and drawers for your belongings and
suitcases. There is ample lighting with lots of overhead lamps.

The living room has a large, comfortable double sofa-bed for two
adults. A corridor leads to the bedroom and separate bathroom. A
cupboard at the entrance to the bathroom has room to hang clothes and
store one or more suitcases.
The bedroom contains two very comfortable single (twin) beds, which
be requested separated or combined to form a Queen size bed. A
built-in wardrobe with sliding doors includes clothes racks and a
number of drawers to store your belongings. A desk fitted with
electrical, internet and telephone sockets offers ideal conditions for
working or writing. Tourist information material is available,
together with a city map in English. A welcome booklet also provides
information about all the nearby amenities, restaurants and tourist
attractions.
The bathroom has a bathtub, multi-jet shower with regulated
temperature, folding shower screen, washbasin, large drawers under the
washbasin, three-door mirror cabinet, retractable hook, washing
machine and folding drying rack. The bathroom is also fitted with a
radiator which is linked to the central heating in winter and becomes
an independent, programmable electric heater in summer. Finally, the
bathroom also has a WC (toilet) separated by a partition.
Rue de Rocroy is located between Montmartre, a district rich with
history and bustling with artistic activity, the Opéra district with
its famous department stores (Galeries Lafayette and Printemps) and
luxury boutiques in Rue de la Paix, Place Vendôme and Rue Scribe, and
the Grands Boulevards district, with the Opéra Comique, the Grévin
Museum and numerous theatres, cinemas and restaurants – three
districts all within 10-12 minutes’ walking distance. The trendy
district around the Quai de Valmy and Quai de Jemmapes along the Canal
St. Martin is also nearby.

There are 2 nearby metro stations for direct links without needing
to change lines: Poissonnière metro station (line 7) to go to the
Opera, the Louvre, the Hôtel de Ville. And, Anvers metro station (line
2): to go to Étoile and the Champs-Élysées.

A lovely apartment in an excellent location. Everything
we needed was provided. It was also very peaceful yet handy for
travelling into the city. We thoroughly enjoyed Paris and we would
love to return again - although we didn't stop all week, there are
many places we still were unable to visit! We hope to return.

Rue
Rocroy Pleaser was an excellent base for us while in Paris. Metro, bus
and taxis stations very close by. Small fruit and vegetable markets,
small groceries stores, bakeries, cafes, creperies, restaurants. Nice
shops (jewelries, bookshops, clothing, shoes) down on Rue Lafayette,
until you get to Galeries Lafayette. All walking distance. You get to
see Paris like the Parisians; on foot.
The owners of the
apartment have done an outstanding job with their property. They have
thought of almost every detail. Is apparent that the apartment
furnishings were chosen carefully. It is very comfortable for two
people.
Even though it sleeps four, it will be difficult if they
are all adults. We were three adults and because we had our meals
mostly outside it was OK. We loved it and when we go back to Paris in
October, we'll try and stay there
again.
Mary Thompson was
prompt responding to my call. And was eager leaving messages at our
unit, responding to someone, who was looking for her. But it was not
us. She showed knowledge and was very pleasant when I needed to
contact her.
We want to thank you for having this affordable
service, which did not exist before. Your company is very well
organize and dealing with you was easy, which takes off a burden when

"How about one word - superb!"
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for one week in Paris in
this lovely apartment. Besides the tasteful decor, everything was very
efficient and well thought out in terms of visitor's needs. The
location was convenient to everything - the Metro, train stations, and
grocers. By European standards the bathroom was huge. We are looking
forward to spending time in this apartment our next trip to Paris. I
would also like the reader to know that unforeseen problems happened
at another rental place and VIP bent over backwards to help us make
