Once out of the apartment, the neighborhood breathes both elegance and history. The Seine is just down the street where you can hop on a Bateau Mouche, which takes you through the center of historic Paris for a stunning tour of the city. The Champs de Mars, which is the expansive garden surrounding the Eiffel Tower, is just a three-minute stroll away. This park is fun for everyone, offering pony rides, puppet shows, lots of grass for playing ball, or picnicking and just relaxing. Or why not ponder what was, in 1889, the world’s tallest man-made structure? And don’t miss the flickering of its lights at night every hour on the hour—a magical experience. Just beyond the Champs de Mars is Trocadero, where you’ll find the new architecture museum, the anthropological museum and the aquarium, and offering a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower and surroundings.
Heading in the opposite direction, just a few minutes from the apartment, there are excellent bakeries and restaurants. Shops selling everything from cheese, fresh fish, vegetables and fruit, or the newest line of clothes and accessories. And so easy to hop on a metro or RER if you want to explore other areas of Paris or even just outside Paris, like the Château de Versailles, only a half hour ride away.
Comfort and convenience with this apartment ensure that you will have the best Paris holiday possible!
