This renovated (November, 2002) one bedroom Paris apartment offers a superb location in the 7^th arrondissement in Paris. Enjoy the wonderful pedestrian street of Rue Cler where you can purchase a gourmet meal of the freshest quality fruits, bread, or fully prepared lunch or dinner. The renown gourmet shop Le Notre is the newest addition to this upscale food street where you can find great food to go or gifts to take back home.

The vacation apartment is unique in that it offers two separate and private sleeping areas each with its own bath (half bath and sink in the bedroom and full bath with tub and shower off the living  room.) Each room has its own entrance so two couples or families can enter or exit without disturbing each other. Located on the second floor (one short flight of stairs) the apartment is furnished with an American queen sized bed and a trundle bed which can be made up as a double or two twin beds, a kitchen with stovetop, microwave/grill oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, and dishes and pots and pans. Cable TV is provided with CNN and BBC in English as well as French stations. There is a radio/CD player. Phone calls can be received and local calls placed. Fresh towels and linens are provided and the apartment is set up for each stay.

The apartment building dates back to the early 1800's. Due to it's close location to the Eiffel Tower, it was used to house some of the workers that built the tower in the late 19th century. At that time only one bathroom served the three floor building. Now, of course, all the apartments have private bathrooms.  This apartment has a floor space of 37 m² (400 ft²).

The neighborhood offers shopping, dining, and many sightseeing opportunities. It is easy to access all areas of Paris from the nearest metro stop at Ecole Militaire, however, within walking distance be sure to visit the Eiffel Tower, Hotel des Invalides with Napoleon’s tomb and the war museum, and the Rodin Museum with the famous garden of sculptures. For those who enjoy a pleasant stroll, the Musee d’Orsay, the Louvre, and Notre Dame can be reached by following the Seine river.

This apartment is one flight from the Garden Studio apartment in the same building. For up to eight people traveling together that would like to stay close to each other, rent both apartments. Once you have tried this area you will appreciate its nickname of Seventh Heaven
