Well located, economical
Studio for Two |
On the hill of Montmartre, 15 rue Véron, there's a
small but charming studio of 18m2 with a history of its
own.
Lola
L., recently wrote her first novel in the flat. It has
become an international bestseller (Une fièvre difficile à négocier,
published by Flammarion) which has just been translated into English,
German and Italian. Copies of the novel are at your disposal on the
bed-shelf.
One can imagine Lola looking out of the sunny window over the Paris
rooftops writing the story that should make her famous. The magic of
the place contributed to her success just as Lola contributes to the
magic of this inspired environment.
Everything is cared for in the studio's space-effective design,
every corner has been conceived to provide comfort and beauty.
French double-bed, kitchenette with refrigerator, combined
oven/microwave, 2 cooking plates, a shower cabin and separate bathroom
with WC, a table/desk near the window to have breakfast, work or write
a first novel. This apartment has a floor space of 17 m2
(180 ft2).
The environment is very calm in this south-facing 4th
(no elevator) floor apartment which gives on a lovely courtyard.
Your next door neighbor sometimes graces you with a violin serenade
and you may feel as if you finally found your home universe.

I absolutely loved the apartment and the neighborhood. Never
mind returning for a holiday, I want to live there :-) The
local bars, shops and restaurants were fantastically friendly.
The apartment provided a lovely base for our stay. We looked
forward to returning after a hard days sight seeing or a hard
evenings wining and dining. I've ranked the kitchen as 7 only
because it was so tiny but it was perfect for our needs so
please don't see this as a criticism - with so many lovely
bars and restaurants you don't need to cook anyway (good
bread, good cheese and good wine is all anybody needs) It was
exactly what we wanted. We couldn't have been happier. I will
without question use ViP again. You are wonderful. What a
brilliant idea to send the keys in advance. We felt like
locals. You were right about the violinist - how lovely to
hear music drifting through the corridors. There was also a
woman singing some mornings that was especially lovely. The
apartment building was sandwiched between two of the most
vibrant streets in Paris but once in the apartment you didn't
hear a sound. This has been the best holiday we have ever had.
We cannot thank you enough and look forward to booking with
you again soon.
