Deia is a small coastal village located in the Serra de Tramuntana, surrounded by ancient olive trees, stone faced houses, sheep and donkeys. It is known for its artistic, literary and musical residents. Its landscape consists of orange, lemon and olive groves on stone terraces and steep cliffs of the small Mediterranean island. The village itself has a number of fine dining restaurants and cafe’s and there is a little shop in the centre where guests will be able to find, cheese, wine, bread and basic products. Cala Deia, below the village, is the local beach, a lovely stone cove, one of the most beautiful in the area and is only a 10 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk down the mountain. Two restaurants on site offer a variety of food and beverages. It's an ideal location for hikers and rural holiday makers. There are several mountain routes and coastal routes all around the area.
