This spacious studio is located on the 1st European floor (2nd US) in a walk-up building from the 1850’s. While the building might be old, this pied-à-terre has been fully renovated. The owner has created a beautiful mix of old and new – exposed beams that seamlessly blend with modern touches like the fun lighting. As you enter, you’ll be greeted by a bright and spacious home. Lots of windows, hardwood floors, crisp white walls and warm tones that all blend harmoniously together.
Despite being a studio, the owner has divided the sleeping from the living area with a half-wall, so it still feels large and open. Upon entering, the kitchen is directly to your left – the first things you’ll notice are the retro-style Smeg appliances, including a full-size refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher. The herringbone countertops provide plenty of space to prepare a meal from the Mouffetard market street just steps away. Next to the kitchen you’ll find a little dining nook with a modern high-top table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
As you continue walking into the apartment, the living area is to the right and has a comfy couch, which can sleep a child or young adult when you add a futon-style pad on top. There’s a coffee table that can be raised up to be used for eating, along with a couple of cube-style chairs. Here you can relax after a long day exploring the city while watching some TV or deciding what to do next.
Directly behind the couch is a half-wall, which provides a bit of privacy to the bed behind it. The queen bed looks towards the large windows…what a way to wake up in the morning! Don’t worry, there are tall drapes should you decide to sleep in. There’s also plenty of space to store your items with a large, mirrored armoire and drawers. It really is hard to believe that this is a studio since it feels so spacious and open.
The bathroom has been fully renovated and feels modern with a mix of large and small charcoal gray tiles throughout. There’s a walk-in shower, crisp white vanity sink, towel warmer, and a small washer. Best of all, a large never-out hot water heater.
The apartment is located in the very heart of the Latin Quarter, with everything just outside your door. Enjoy this lively area with plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and the famous cobblestone Mouffetard market street. Take a walk to discover the Pantheon, Place de la Contrescarpe, stroll at the nearby Jardins du Luxembourg or wander the small passages of this historic neighborhood. The metro is also just a short walk away so you can quickly be anywhere in the city. Come enjoy this quintessential Parisian experience!
This apartment requires a "Meet and Greet" - guests will be met at the apartment by the local manager and given keys at that time.
