Comments:We had a fantastic stay at this property. Just steps outside the door was everything we needed. Awesome restaurants, cute and affordable shops, chocolate and whatever else our hearts desired. We truly would have been happy to not leave the island had it not been for all the other things to see and do in Paris. Love this airbnb and hope to stay here again. The company was wonderful to do business with.

Comments:This was my 3rd rental of this property, and I plan to rent it next year. The lights in the kitchen didn?t work this time, though the handyman was due just after we left. And the problem with the sliding door in the bedroom persists, so I think it is probably structural. That said, it is a wonderful building and location, and Tania is very helpful and reliable. I will be back!

Comments:I have rented this apartment twice and have already rented it again. VIP has a few other similarly sized apartments that are a little nicer and more comfortable, but you cannot beat this combination of a central location and quiet. That?s why I keep coming back to it, happily.

Comments:We absolutely loved staying in this apartment because the location is fantastic. Ile St. Louis exceeded expectations in terms of charm, quiet, restaurants, shops, and proximity to sites. Our family of five (two adults, three kids) had enough space to be comfortable in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing daily breakfast and beds were comfortable. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you for responding so quickly to all of my questions during the booking process and leading up to our trip. Comments:The location of this apartment simply cannot be beat. Right on the Ile St Louis, with easy access to basically everything, but so quiet. The apartment itself was exactly as advertised, absolutely spotless and, though small, very comfortable. It was fine with three people, but very tight for four (we were two adults traveling with our two young adult sons). The bathroom (especially the shower) is unusually large--a welcome surprise, and the fact that the apartment had both a washer and dryer was so convenient. There's an AC unit in the living room that was a godsend, as we were there during one of the canicules, when the temperature topped 100 degrees. Probably the only real issue we had was that there isn't enough of a dining area for more than two people to sit together, and the table that is there is very small and rickety. But that was just a small drawback given the other charms of the property and the exceptional location. I'm not sure we will rent this particular apartment again, but we definitely intend to rent from this agency again. They were a joy to work with, and the apartment was spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised. We highly recommend Vacation in Paris.

Comments:Lovely apartment in an absolutely unbeatable location -- the SW corner of the Ile St. Louis (the little island). It's on a small side street that gets little traffic, other than a bunch of motorcycles parked right outside. The apartment is right smack in the dead center of Paris, and convenient to just about everything. The only thing we did not like about the place is the bathroom: It has a very treacherous step which we had to be very careful about. Also, the shower stall is raised about 6" and requires extremely cautious entry and exit, using the two grab bars. The unit is quite small for the price (compare unit #267, for example), but the location is so central!

Comments:Fell in love with the apartment and the Ile St. Louis! We really thought that the apartment and location were perfect. The apartment was the perfect size, furnishings were great and it had so much character. When I think of renting an apartment in Paris, this is my ideal. I loved how the character and age of the building were apparent but remodeling had been done in the areas that were important: bathrooms, kitchen, etc. Couldn't think of anything we would have needed that wasn't provided. Loved how we could sit at the little table and look through the windows. So charming! I think it would be helpful to have some updated comments on your website about the apartments. I was a little hesitant going in because there really weren't many recent reviews. However, it definitely exceeded all of our expectations! By the way, the bed in the separate bedroom was extremely comfortable, I checked "very good" above because my daughter said the pull out sofa was a little hard. However, didn't seem to impact her sleeping at all! ;-).

Comments:The drain in the shower was not working properly. We did not report it because we just did not have time. The TV did not work at all. There was a note in the book stating that the TV was temperamental and that you were in the process of getting a new one. It was an overall excellent experience. The location was very good. Notre Dame just a few blocks away and tour buses across Notre Dame. We were able to get everything we needed from the local supermarket. Great places to eat and wonderful crepes.

Comments:The couch was very uncomfortable. Noise was related to construction/ renovation. Temporary, we think, and for which we receive discount. Bathroom with step down was hard to navigate. We all stumbled at some point. Decorating was wanting. Thrift store left overs had great possibilities, but not presented as "luxurious" as well as they might be. Overall, a very nice place that we enjoyed, with just a few problems.

Comments:Your staff was great to work with in setting up our rental and the instructions and info provided ahead of the trip were very helpful. THe orientation on site at the apartment was very good and necessary. She did a great job and arrived on time. The apartment itself was fantastic in terms of amenities and is in the perfect location to see and feel a part of Paris. One complaint I do have is about the ground transportation service your firm recommended. We were not met on time. Being our first trip to Europe, this was disconcerting and inconvenient - something we were wiling to pay to avoid. It was significantly more expensive than other options, also. We had to wait almost an hour, and this was after repeated calls to the transport company. Thank you for providing a great service. Marc M

Comments:It was fun to stay on the island, even though it was Easter weekend and the noise level on the bridge was fierce for the three day weekend. It didn't die down until 3 a.m. City was unbelievably crowded. We liked the apartment. It only had one roll of toilet paper and there wasn't the usual copious amount of information set out for us to use, like how to call a taxi in English, etc., but we made friends with a man at the desk of a hotel around the corner who called taxies for us and even booked us a tour. It was a good place overall. I marked that I wouldn't use the apartment again only because I like to try different locations and I prefer to be closer to the metro, but it was fun to be so close to the Marais and get more aqainted with that area. The island itself was fun. Disliked the sofa bed in living room. Leather cushions kept sliding off and mattrass was thin. In October I will be staying in ID 210 and I this will be my fifth different apartment with VIP. I have told many travelers how efficient and friendly you all are. It's fun to see your pictures on your website. You all act enthusiastic on the phone and are so helpful with suggestions. Thank you for making my Paris passion so much more fun. I assume I got the damage deposit credited back, but I haven't received by bank statement yet. I wish I could go back next month and stay in ID 118, St. Paul. Every time I go I check out a few more of your apartment locations. Alas, maybe I'll stay there next year if I can book soon enough. It's also fun to discover the new apartments you keep adding. Also, your website keeps improving, too. My husband says I need a support group. Thanks yet again. I love VIP!!
