Comments:I only marked 'no' to using this property again because we like to have a different experience each time in Paris. This was our eleventh different apartment rented from VIP and we have loved them all. This property is in a great location to catch bus, RER, metro, taxi or walk to get anywhere you want to go. This flat is a prime choice if one prefers a 'happening' area with lots of yummy street food. The beds were very comfortable and every amenity was supplied. More comfortable for two people than for 4 unless it's in one family. When sofa bed is out, the living space/kitchen is spare. Good use is made of the square footage and having two doors to the toilet is helpful. I agree with one reviewer who said the apartment could use a bit of editing, but I would definitely recommend this property. Cozy gas fireplace actually works. Views are wonderful. Transportation access superb. Fun cobble-stoned area in the Latin Quarter. All good. As I said,this apartment could use some editing. I would call it more rustic than luxury. The sofa-bed is hard to lift in and out. It was very comfortable, though, which is most important. Perhaps some oil on the hinges and oil also for the very squeaky bathroom door hinges would be nice. We stashed one of the coffee pots, some decorative items, pillows and knick-knacks in a corner. Pots everywhere. Bookcase has way too many travel books. Who needs a decade of Rick Steves? Just adds to a cluttered feel. Overall, we enjoyed it very much. Last year we stayed downstairs and next time we may try 226 next door. Always a new adventure. I love VIP! I'm not complaining, just trying to help for the future. I would give it a high recommendation, overall. Thank you VIP, as always!

Comments:We so much enjoyed our stay. The location was just superb as was the overall feel of the apartment. The reasons why I gave the furniture a very good instead of an excellent were: The slipcovers are awkward because they aren't a custom fit to the furniture so they slide off Although lovely and antique the dining room table seemed slightly un-sturdy. Hi, we did have the hot water issue with the shower. Second shower really had no hot water. When we returned I told Vacations in Paris and the property manager says it has been fixed. I didn't want future guests to have to deal with there not being hot water for the second, third, or fourth showers.

Comments:Fantastic location. Quiet in spite of all the hubbub in the area. I could walk to so many things and the subway and train are a minute or so away. Comfortable,cozy and elegant decor. Lots of storage in bedroom and bathroom and very little in kitchen. Appreciated the big windows, large loaner umbrella and guide books,ipod speaker dock and free long distance to call home. Being picked up at the airport was a great bonus. Lots of English-language movie theatres in the area. Very comfortable bed. Heaters very effective when needed. Found the stove top challenging to operate. Really needs a fry pan or skillet. This is the second time I have booked a Paris apartment through VIP. I appreciate that VIP pointed this apartment out to me in the first place as there was a discount during this period. Also, very much appreciate that VIP and the apartment owner accommodated my need to push my date back by one day when Super Storm Nemo hit the east coast of North America and delayed all flights by a day.

It was so convenient to everything and was so wonderful to have a comfortable apartment to return to every evening, rather than coming back to a hotel.We will definitely use your company again for our future travels to Paris !! Comments:We really enjoyed the apartment and the location. Even though the area is busy with restaurants, we had no problem with noise. It would have been helpful to have the manual for the washing machine. We never could figure out how to to just wash and spin dry... which is what we wanted to do with most of our clothes. The kitchen was a little cluttered with coffee machines and stuff (one is enough) but otherwise very nice. The internet worked fine (we didn't watch any TV). We really liked the size of the bathroom. It had 2 sinks and lots of storage in the cabinet. There was also plenty of closet space for our clothes, which was appreciated. We were really glad that we did this instead of a hotel. Just to have enough space to stretch out after a busy day was great. We couldn't get a key in advance for this apartment, and needed to meet the apartment manager there. Since we hadn't done this before, we had some concerns about it. Your staff was helpful in addressing our concerns and it all worked out as planned. Also, we used the car service that you recommended in your apartment guide, and they were right on time and very professional.

Neighbors were quiet and we found any noise from the people on the street a happy and relaxing sound. With the front windows closed didn't hear anything. Comments:Many of the furnishings are covered with through blankets and underneath they are a bit worn. The pots and pans were all worped so they did not work on a convection stove but our building manger replaced them immediatly when we notified him of the issue.

Comments:We loved the apartment! Just two minor issues. 1) The VIP instructions state that you should call the manager at least an hour in advance of your scheduled arrival time at the apartment. We arrived early in the morning at CDG airport and waited until about 8:30am to call the apartment manager to set up a 9:30am meeting. The manager's voicemail said not to leave a message and to call back after 9am. If 9:30am check-in (or bag drop-off) is the norm, then the manager should accept calls by 8:30am; otherwise, VIP should modify its instructions accordingly. 2) The main television in the living room is quite old; given that this is a luxury apartment, I encourage the owner to replace it with an upgraded larger model.

Comments:We know the washer/dryer worked because the cleaning lady used it, but the instructions are inadequate for someone unfamiliar with how it works ... we tried and failed. The door to the W/D does not latch and stuck well out into the walkway ... we had to wedge it shut. The apartment was quite dusty on arrival ... we had to clean it. We have had the discussion regarding the stairwell sanding work while we were there. More could have been done to keep dust from entering the apartment. We had to seriously clean twice during that work. Would be nice if a "luxury" apartment had an iPod dock. Would be nice if there was a bread knife available, as the knives are quite dull. We do not want to sound like we did not enjoy the apartment, because we certainly did. These are just details that would have made a difference and thanks for asking. The use of the phone for free calls back to the USA was superb ... thank you!

Comments:The apartment was excellent. We have recommended it to many friends and loved the location. The Greek Kabob place at the entrance was a surprise but not a bother. Get a better TV for the living room with a few more English channels. Otherwise dont change a thing !

Comments:VERY convenient location and wonderful apartment. It had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed and bedding; great bathroom. The information binder/with suggestions was extremely helpful and steered us to some superb neighborhood dining. Free wifi and phone to the states!!! We did have trouble with the coffee pot (very important!)--could not make it work correctly and it was not the same kind described in the information book. TV was also a bit of a problem but did not interfere with our enjoyment. We felt it was a bit overpriced for the location......
