Comments:the worst thing about this apartment was the bed in the second bedroom. It is not an adult's bed, but a cheap, child's bed. It is very low to the ground, and has the worst mattress I have ever encountered, and I have been renting apartments in Europe for 20 years. It also had no storage space except in the small nightstands next to the bed. This apartment should not be sold as a "two bedroom" unless the small bedroom is intended for children. Equally bad was the lighting. We could not get any of the lights to turn on bright enough to read. The lights were burned out in the master bedroom and kitchem. We realize electricity is expensive in France, but so was this apartment. To try to get any light at all, we turned on all the lights in the living room and hallway, which defeats the purpose of saving energy. While the bathrooms were beautiful, their lack of any electrical outlets dropped their rating. Standing in the hallway to dry your hair does not come under the category of "luxury" as this apartment is rated on your website. The owner left their personal items in the small bathroom, which already lacked storage space. The safe was on the closet floor of the small bedroom, requiring one to literally lie on the floor to use it. There is no table and chairs for dining, only the kitchen bar and stools. There is a chair setting next to the window in the living area next to the small bedroom, which could easily accommodate a small dining table and a few chairs. Finally, it was very cold in Paris that week, and we were not able to use the heat; when we called the local contact, she said the whole building was that way because it was too early to turn on the heat. No offer was made to provide space heaters which would have helped the problem. On the plus side, the apartment decor was lovely, but not as advertised in all cases (there are not two sofas in the living room, only one), and the supplies (soap, coffee filters, etc.) were very good You describe this as being "one flight up" but there are 23 steps...much more than a typical American flight. You should disclose this in the description.

Comments:We were very pleased with the space the apartment provided for our family. The location was safe and gave us easy access to the metro and provided easy walking to many places. The master bedroom mattress was horrible. By the third night I was dreaming of another bed. My body was in pain by the end of our stay. I am interested in staying in the apartment again if there is a new mattress. We were otherwise very impressed. We plan to go back to France next summer.

Comments:Some of the glasses were not clean on arrival. TV didn't work well with the rail and would go it and out during the stay.

Comments:The bed linens had a moldy smell to them. So, I changed them out and washed them. The towels were crispy feeling. I bought some detergent and fabric softener to wash them. They were fine after that. Thank goodness the apartment had a washer & dryer. I did tell the manager about the towels.
The property is in a perfect location. The home is beautiful and very convenient to everything. We would definitely stay here again.
