Comments:the apartment was fine. But I was out of luck since they were restoring the building outside, so every morning at 8 am drills, sanding machines and voices were at work. But the owners let me know after I complained that I could stay for 4 days in any of their rentals for free for 4 days on my next visit to Paris. Much appreciated! I would just let them know, that a few more towels would be welcomed! Also the TV never worked and to figure out the way the phone works was also not too easy.. even for me who is European and lived in Paris for many years. I imagine it almost impossible for Americans. to figure it out. But the place is fine and it's location wonderful and it gives into a courtyard.. so it usually is quiet.

Comments:We had a long flight from the West coast of the US to get here and so we were very tired when we landed. I felt bad that I could not figure out where the room was. It was our first time in France and the streets are obviously different than what we are used to. Once we got to the room the rest of the time was easy. We did not have water one day but it was quickly resolved and it did not take much time. We loved everything about this apartment and we look forward to staying with you again. We requested NO wine.

Comments:The apartment was in an excellent location. It was a little smaller than we were expecting but worked very well. There was a homeless man that slept outside the door (on street) but he was harmless. Thanks for your help - we had a wonderful time.

Comments:We stayed in apartment 195, one bedroom with double sofa. Three adults. Myself, my wife and my brother. We found it to be comfortable for us, but probably would be cramped for 4 adults. We used it for sleeping and showers etc but not for preparing meals.

Comments:When we arrived, we had no bathmat. There were only two small towels for showering, and two hand towels. The mid-week housecleaner added a bathmat, so that helped, but I think you should consider adding another bath towel and hand towel.

Comments:The apartment was smaller than expected once the sofa bed was open so I would probably look for something bigger next time. The biggest surprise was the amount of noise from other residents. Given the bold, capitalized cautions about being quiet and not smoking, we were shocked at how noisy the other residents were and they smoked so much that we could not open the windows to the courtyard. Thanks ... we loved the location and will look for something similar next time.

Comments:The apartment was wonderful - great location and very, very quiet. It was very comfortable (we had the 1 BR option), and very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, but a little low, which could be difficult for older people to get into or out of. We really appreciated all of the closet space, so that we could put our suitcases out of the way, after we had unpacked. The only (minor) problem was that we could not be the TV to work -- there were no detailed instructions, except for the manual for the remote, but there was a set-up function for the TV service required, in which the owner code had to be entered and there was no information on that available; however, it wasn't a big enough issue for us to contact the manager, as we weren't really in the apartment enough to watch TV. The internet connection worked well. The only suggestions that I would have for improvements are, is that for a one week stay, it would be good to have more than 1 set of towels per person. Also it would be good to leave more papergoods (only 2 rolls of TP and less than 1/2 roll of paper towels). I hope to have the opportunity to stay there again and to recommend it to friends -- the location, just a few steps to rue Montorgueil can't be beat. VIP has very positive word-of-mouth on Trip Advisor -- it was from the Paris there I learned about you. Also, I used Super Shuttle, on your recommendation, to get from CDG to the apartment. Their service was not good. We called and were told the shuttle would be there in 20 minutes or less. After waiting 40 minutes, my husband went in and called again. They apologized and said the shuttle would be there in 15 minutes. We waited 45 more minutes, before it finally showed up. After an all-night redeye flight, this was not pleasant, and it was frustrating to see all of the other shuttle services come around 3-4 times during the course of our wait, and wish that we had booked with them. I would not use Super Shuttle again, and wanted to mention this to you, as, if you have complaints from other clients, you might want to recommend an alternative airport shuttle service.

Comments:The apartment as a whole was exactly as it was advertised and overall was very clean and very appropriate for our needs. We were disappointed that we did not have a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. There were no kitchen towels at all. We had to use our bathroom hand towels to dry the dishes. There was one dirty kitchen towel/rag left wadded up on the shelf in the bathroom. There were not as many dishes in the cabinet as were listed in the apartment inventory but those that were there were quite nice. It was a real pleasure to work with a US-based company like Vacation in Paris. Being US-based made communitcation very easy with email and even phone calls. Also, being able to pay in US dollars was extremely convenient. The pictures of the apartment we rented that we saw online show exactly what the apartment really looks like. There were no surprises, and that in itself was a pleasant surprise in this day and age. The ease of the entire rental expience with VIP made our vacation very special.

Comments:The phone number printed in my materials was inaccurate - I was unable to coordinate with the apartment manager without first going through the Vacation in Paris staff. Eventually, the manager contacted us and we were in direct contact. We considered using the adjacent room to make it be a 2 BR rental, but it was going to be used for our 7 year old daughter - the room is across the hall and would not have access to the bathroom without using the room keys to access. I would recommend this apartment for a couple only - the fold out couch is in the only remaining room in the bathroom, so unless everyone goes to bed at the same time, it isn't convenient for use by others in the apartment.
