Comments:My friend and I loved ID 84. It's evident that much care and love went into this restoration. The apartment is very charming as the pictures show. The stairs up to the apartment are wide and gradual, so not really a problem. We moved from one VIP apartment to another the morning after the terrorist attack, and our wonderful contact person, Tonia, helped us make the transition under stressful circumstances. Thank you VIP. You are always the best!

Comments:The apartment was in a perfect location with nearby food and easily accessible to everywhere we wanted to go. It was a short walk from every major attraction in Paris and it is in a perfect area. The map to find the apartment could have been a bit clearer, possible walking instructions from the station, etc. could have been useful. The map was too zoomed out and it took quite a while to find the street.

Comments:Property was beautiful and in a fantastic location. It was in a lovely old building which was very quite and felt very secure. All the furniture was lovely and the marble and hardwood floors. There were plenty of utensils in the kitchen and the washing machine and dishwasher were easy to use. The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival and the wi-if worked well. We couldn't work out how to use the television but this didn't really bother us.
The apartment is located close to a Metro and RER. It is also easy to walk to many sights as it is in a very central location. The apartment is also located very close to France Tourisme which is very convenient if you book tours through this company. The restaurant across the road (the Guy Savoy one) was amazing. My daughter and I had lunch there one day and it was the best meal we had in Paris.

Comments:My daughter and I have never experienced such a joyous time.
The location of the 3 Rue des Grands was SUPERB. We walked
everywhere. It could not have been in a better place. The stairs
are a challenge but I practiced going up and down my stairs at
home and it was a lot easier. The apartment is so cozy and the
beds are perfect. For anyone thinking of this place, IT IS A MUST
FOR LOCATION and beauty. I just want to thank you allowing us the
joy of living in your place. WOW.

Comments:The property was exactly as described in the pictures. It was very clean and also
there were many supplies left (toilet paper, pepper/salt, some coffe, dishwasher detergent, etc. This was very nice since we did not expect this. Will defintely recommend VIP and the apartment to friends, colleages and family. Very impressed with service.
It would be nice to ahve some english channels besides the news, but understandable that owner would not go out of the way for this.

Comments:The apartment was generally quiet at night, however one night residents were extremely loud after midnight for an hour or so in the courtyard. It would have been helpful to have better instructions regarding when and where to take trash out, as sometimes the cans were not in place. Also, laundry instructions would be helpful. one morning I got up early and left, locking all the locks. When I returned my husband tried to unlock the door from the inside but could not. This was disturbing from a fire safety viewpoint and we do not know if I did something wrong when I locked up. The location was excellent. You may also mention how close it is to a velib station, which was great. The futon in the loft is pretty uncomfortable as a sleeping area, might be better touted as a living space for the kids. I do not mean to be negative, as we had a great time and made use of the kitchen and the table extensively, and could not ask for better location. I just wanted to pass along my feedback.

Comments:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The location was perfect and the apartment itself was very quiet, you would never have known that you were in the center of Paris. Everything was in very good condition and we would gladly stay here again. The service that we received from your office was fantastic! Thank you for helping to make our vacation even more memorable!

Comments:Overall, we had a very nice stay in this apartment. It was comfortable and the location and neighborhood would be hard to beat. There were some negatives, however. The biggest was that the water never got truly hot, just lukewarm, so bathing was not as pleasant as it could have been. The apartment was very quiet for such a great, central location, however, an apartment across the courtyard was being renovated and there was often construction noise during the day. The kitchen was fine, I didn't really expect anything like home, but the lighting was poor. Overall, it was above average, but with a few tweaks it could be excellent. The apartment fit my family well. I had a pleasant experience with VIP and would use your services again (probably my wife and I alone - looking for a smaller apt).

1. Found coffee was broken.

Great location. I would recommend this apartment to others. It added to the Paris experience.

Comments:The location was outstanding. It makes the rental worthwhile. The apartment is at the top of five flights of stairs and there is no elevator. So, it's not the best location for elderly or infirm persons. Thanks. We really enjoyed our stay.

Comments:We had issues with the hot water and heating since there were no instructions for either of them in the apartment booklet. We needed to turn the fuse box on when we arrived (on a Sunday morning) but were not told that it would take a few hours before we had hot water so were unable to take showers after our overnight flight. We tried to change the fuse settings on our own but could not solve that problem. The radiators also had digital controls that we could not work and it was freezing cold in the apartment and the control mechanism flashed all night long in our bedroom. The apartment was also a little dim and could use some more lights (especially in the bedroom by the armoire). A few of the lightbulbs were burnt out and replacement bulbs were not in the apartment (we found some bulbs but they were not the right kind.) Some extra blankets and pillows would also have been nice. On the positive side, we loved the location of the apartment, it was full of charm and very quiet. The bathroom was modern and great, there was a huge old empty armoire in our bedroom so we could unpack and our 17 year old daughter was thrilled with her sleeping loft. The neighborhood was wonderful and very convenient. Both the manager and concierge were very helpful and polite. Your agency's process of paying for the apartment with paypal, having a reasonable security deposit, receiving the key in advance and being able to move in the apartment in the morning made it much more convenient than using other agencies. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely use the apartment and your agency again and will recommend your agency to others. The renter's booklet in the apartment had a hodgepodge of tourist information but we didn't see any guest book to leave comments about restaurants or other recommendations for other renters. We ate at some great, small, reasonably priced restaurants in the area and could have left that information as well as some other tourist tips. Overall, though, we had a great experience, and appreciate your clear and organized web site, pictures, communication, instructions and this evaluation. Merci!

Comments:We had a third person and used the futon upstairs - there was not sufficient bed covers and it is a very drafty spot. The towels were underwhelming. The location was stellar and the apartment was perfect for us. I was only annoyed that we had made it clear that there were three of us, but it seemed set up for only two. It did not dampen our stay - as I said, we made do with what we had.

Comments:Overall we were very pleased with our stay here. It was a cute place in an outstanding location, and extremely quiet. One thing we felt is the kitchen needs regular deep cleaning, not just a "run over" between renters. There was a "stickiness" about it, inside cabinets, utensil holders, etc. that was just unappealing. Also, there needs to be some side tables in the living area and by the bed, just something to put a glass on. Finally, the apartment advertised a marble dining table, however upon arrival there was a somewhat worn vinyl covering over it and a note asking us not to remove the vinyl covering. We do not wish to eat on vinyl. Would we stay here again? Yes we would, however we would probably spend some time looking at other properties first to see if there were any others we might like to try.

Comments:The description of the apt. didn't say the the loft ceilings were too low for an adult to be able to stand up straight. This made the loft quite uncomfortable. There was no dryer as stated and things came out of the washer too wet to hang in the apt. The quality of the towels was terrible and we were given only 4 sets for 4 people for the whole week. I would have washed them, but there was no way to dry them. The manager told us that we would be charged for an extra set of towels. There was not a dish towel provided to dry dishes in the kitchen. We were not able to enjoy dining on the beautiful marble table shown in the photos because instructions left in the apt. said that we must keep it covered with the unattractive oilcloth table cloth it had on it. The big black information binder left for guests was great to have and quite helpful. I wished it had instructions for how to work the stovetop, and where and how to dispose of garbage and recycles. Also, there needs to be instructions on how to use the energy saving motion detector light switch in the bathroom. Often it would turn off every 60 seconds, leaving one in blackness while in the shower, etc.! If all my issues were addressed it would be a great place to stay!

Comments:The apartment had charm, was clean and very centrally located to all the tourist attractions. Internet speed was fantastic. The apartment gives you a sense of Paris, lots of touches that were lovely. The apartment is lovely but you should indicate to people about the access & the 100 stairs and at least give the guests an opportunity to knowingly rent the apartment based on its conditions.
